This is an 1800 sq ft, two-story 4 bedroom/3 bath vacation home with a finished loft. Nestled in a small valley away from the hustle and bustle, it is about one mile from Grand Lake. The fully equipped kitchen will allow one to make even a bundt cake for that special occasion. There are 6 beds--1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and twin bunk bed which will sleep 10 people with double occupancy.
Off the kitchen, there is a deck which provides a quiet relaxing area for coffee in the mornings or grilling your catch of the day. With a two car garage, it is easy to store canoes and other water crafts and still shelter your car from a short summer rain. It is also great to be able to park in the garage for winter snows.
With alpine views filling the large picture windows, you forget that you have neighbors nearby. It is conveniently located just off of Hwy 34. A hill obscures the view of Shadow Mountain Lake, however the lake is less than a 1/4 mile away.
In the summer, the mountain weather is perfect for hikes, water sports, fishing, golf, and other outdoor activities. There are also specialty shops and restaurants in Grand Lake that you don't want to miss. The Kawuneeche Visitor Center is at the western entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and is 2.8 miles away.
Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre is an outstanding professional theatre in Grand Lake with a great lineup of shows in the summer.
In the winter, Ski Granby Ranch (30 min) and Winter Park Resort (45 min) are nearby. Rocky Mountain National Park is also great for snow activities. The Grand Lake Nordic Center also has groomed trails for cross country skiing.
If you need to get away any time of year, this place is for you.
